Spinnaker *Semi-oceanfront!

LOVE THIS HOME, LOCATION, THE BEACH - ALL OF IT!! Highly recommend to extended families or a group of friends!!

This was our first time in Sandbridge. We had 22 people which fit comfortably in the Spinnaker Semi-Oceanfront home. The location was perfect!, right across the street from the (no steps) beach access!. We had unobstructed views of the ocean.
We only had on issue with the kitchen faucet which was fixed quickly. We were notified before our arrival that the hot tub was broken. It was fixed during our stay so we got to enjoy that for the second half of the week.
The kitchen could use some extra supplies, for a house that accommodates up to 24 people, there could be more silverware (forks), plates, mugs and the cookware could be expanded also.

Overall, it was a great house and we had a memorable vacation week. We wouldn't hesitate to come back to Sandbridge or the Spinnaker house.
Unfortunately, Ocean Sands Realty does not give current renters the option to rebook the following year, this house is already booked for next year before we even left. ;(
(In our past experience, the current renters had until the day after checkout to rebook or hold for the same week the following year. )

Spinnaker is a great vacation rental for our family. Plenty of bedrooms/ bathrooms to accommodate 15 people. The kitchen could use a few more frying pans there was only 1 large one. The carpet needs replaced on the lower level steps or completely taken out . Having carpet in a rental is not a good idea. I would replace with vinyl flooring through out the entire house. Also the hand railing are very disgusting and dirty the wrong paint was used on them. Even though a few things need addressed in my opinion, I will be renting this house again, this is our 4th. year in a row staying here.

The house was in a great location for beach access. The house was clean with plenty of room for our family to hangout together and have privacy if you wanted it.

The house was great with plenty of room for a large group. The pool area with Hot Tub was really nice. The proximity to the beach was amazing with beach access directly across from the front of the house. The property management company was very responsive and fast to correct a few minor issues we had. I would highly recommend this property for your beach vacation!

Spinnaker was THE ideal house for our family! We have not vacationed together in 24 years! From the easy access to the ocean and the private pool this house was perfect! It had plenty of room for everyone! Historical attractions and other family activities were close by. We wouldn't change a thing! Ocean Sands was so easy to work with.

We had 11 seniors traveling for our Annual family reunion. ALL of the accommodations were perfect. We loved getting the handtowel in the towel package. The only thing we were a little disappointed in that ALL supplies were wiped clean from the house. Rentals that we have used in the past, will leave the extras of some dish soap supplies from the previous, some spices for use with future guests. This had nothing.. We brought all of our supplies, and like leaving for future, but was hesitant, not knowing that they would be left for the next guest. Hot tub was a blessing after the round of Golf at Hells Point. We had twenty family members the house was perfect in both size and location. We had 1 small repair issue and they were there to fix it within minutes. ocean Sands Office was great the best I've had in 25 years of beach vacations

We had a lovely time. It was all about visiting with friends that we don’t often see. Spinnaker was perfect with large gathering spaces and small more intimate spaces. Parking was plentiful . Folks at Ocean Sands were very accommodating. Proximity to beach and view of the ocean were great. We’ll be back next year.

We had a group of 17, 9 of them children - for a wonderful spring break week...we loved the 10 bedrooms - 3 great areas for hanging out! We didn’t have the opportunity to use the pool because it was April.

Great stay especially with pets.
Stayed at the property mid Winter so unable to enjoy the beach, but rather was seeking a "get away" from CT. We have a 100lb Lab/Shepard and while is is well trained and controlled, some of the rentals that allow dogs are not that great (understandably). Not the case here, the floors and furniture were very decent, clean and comfy, not top of the line, but if you want that, leave Fido at home! Everything was functional and here were all types of pots/pans, kitchen appliances. You need nothing. Recommend bringing your own food storage containers. Very spacious with nice 3 floor layout for multiple families and another kitchenette on 1st floor = major plus! Location was excellent, walk out front door and you are 75 feet from beach access. Pool was covered but hot tub was functional, however it did not achieve max temperature. It was more a "warm tub". The dryer, broke down but it was replaced the next day. The property management firm employees were great! Thank you!! Walking distance to the local food market (7 mins) was convenient. Aside from the "warm tub", no issues and great stay especially with pets. A no brainer to stay here again.

The location was by far the best part. A quick easy walk to the beach. Viewing the sunrise from the decks with a cup of coffee was amazing! We were a group of 12 plus 2 kids the house was very spacious, the dining table allowed all of us to eat together. Then there’s the kitchen... it was not the gourmet kitchen one would expect for such a lovely home. There were very little cooking supplies and the items supplied were in bad condition. The kitchen needs some upgrades. The other area lacking at this rental is the backyard. It also needs some TLC. Multiple family members would feel a tingle shock when touching the entire side of the pool closes to the house.

Spinnaker was the ideal vacation home for our family. I have been renting vacation homes every year for 30 years . I must admit Spinnaker is the only vacation home I ever wanted to rent again. So I booked it for September of 2023 . There was 14 of us , 10 adults and 4 kids ages 2 to 14 and a couple of dogs. The back fenced in yard was great for letting the dogs out . The house was clean , the only things I noticed that the house needed was a couple new frying pans and the bathroom with the sliding pocket door needs a few repairs.

Five stars! Can’t say enough good things about this home and the management of the property. Excellent communication. Very clean. Very well appointed. Great pool. Outstanding location. We had one small problem and it was solved nearly immediately. Can’t recommend it strongly enough.

Spinnaker was a great venue for our birthday party/family reunion for 14 people! The home was clean and wqell maintained and extremely well equipped. (The only missing is that one of the propane tanks on the two grills was empty and we didn't check it in advance -- so just be sure to do so). The primary kitchen was well equipped for creating meals. Big plus was the beach access directly across the street.

We loved everything about our stay at Spinnaker! It was wonderful! Everything was clean, the location was perfect. The pirate ship playground in the background and the hot tub really saved our trip (since the weather was cold and extremely windy!). Ocean Sands Realty was wonderful, very responsive, easy to work with and kind! All around this was perfect!

The house was everything we expected. It was very clean upon arrival. There was a known issue with the air, but it was rectified within a reasonable amount of time. Will definitely stay there again.

We had a great week and the home was in a wonderful location. There are things that need improvement and repair. The front of the house, doors, and glass are filthy and the grounds had not been cleaned. There was a dirty diaper dropped inside the gate. Deck boards are loose and popping up and several of us tripped along with getting splinters. The pool was never cleaned mid week (vacuumed) although we did see a van in the driveway.
The door for the upstairs beachside deck is nearly impossible to open, so someone may want to check it.
The washing machine is leaking so cold water will continue to fill the basin if you don't shut off the water.
I am sharing as the owners should be aware.

This was my family’s 3rd year in Spinnaker. We would never want to stay anywhere else. Jordan is fantistic! She always helped me with any questions.
